Our rigorous application process to find the elite members of the travel professional community is led by Jacqueline Hurst, GTM's Director of Trade Recruitment and Engagement. Each applicant to Global Travel Marketplace West is considered with great care.
WHO WE LOOK FOR
We seek top-producing and influential travel advisors who have a genuine interest in growing their business by taking full advantage of the opportunities offered at GTM West. These advisors continuously cultivate their extensive network of hotels, resorts, tour companies, air and cruise lines –and come to GTM West looking to develop new relationships with global suppliers.
To qualify for GTM West:
Annual individual sales of at least $1 million OR agency owner of a multi-million dollar agency, based on 2024 sales figures
Must live in Western United States or Canadian Provinces
Discretion to work with all suppliers (preferred and non-preferred)
Global book of business or goal to expand current business portfolio
Desire to meet with and discover new suppliers and destinations
In addition to meeting qualifications such as an annual individual sales volume of $1 million and a global book of business, travel agents interested in applying for GTM West must live in the following states or Canadian provinces: Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii and Canadian Provinces British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Yukon Territory, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.
To qualify for GTM North America
Annual individual sales of at least $1 million OR agency owner of a multi-million dollar agency, based on 2024 sales figures
Must live in North America
Discretion to work with all suppliers (preferred and non-preferred)
Global book of business or goal to expand current business portfolio
Desire to meet with and discover new suppliers and destinations
To qualify for GTM Luxury:
Annual individual sales of at least $1 million, based on 2024 sales figures
Proven luxury sales with a minimum spend of $1,000 per person per day
At least 2 years of sales in the luxury sector and established relationships with premier travel brands
Existing network high-net-worth clientele
Decision maker and discretion to work with all suppliers (preferred and non-preferred)
Provide industry references
